The Vincent has the quality you expect from the iconic H-D® brand. Combined with the most modern athletic comfort features, this boot is has it all. Made with waterproof full-grain leather, and a reflective script logo for protection in low light conditions, this boot also has ETPU (Engineered Thermoplastic Polyurethane) anti-fatigue foam at the midsole, which absorbs shocks and returns energy, for all-day comfort, making each stride a wonderful thing. The lining is made with Breathable Hydro-Guard™ waterproof membrane, which keeps your feet dry all day. The toe is rounded. Lacing is accomplished with leather eyelets, and the tie-off is fast with twin speed-hooks, and YKK® locking inside zippers. A contrasting white mid-sole is eye-catching, where an embossed Harley-Davidson® logo is positioned. The tongue is padded and the top of the shaft has padded ribbing. A fabric waterproof badge is sewn on at the top of the heel’s counter for fast identification. The black street-side outsoles have grippy tread elements for a sure footing, and are rated BEST for abrasion, slip and oil resistance. The boot's sole, insole and upper are bound using time honored cement construction processes, completing the boot with trusted durability. These boots are ready for anything.     I've been wearing "scooter boots" since my late teen years, everything from Dingo's to steel-toed jump boots, but now, just shy of 70 y.o., with osteoarthritis and a torn meniscus bringing the weight hanging off my ankles more into focus, I thought I might like to try something lighter. Still uncomfortable with the idea of just wearing tennis shoes, I began a search for "lightweight, waterproof boots." Eventually, finding these online, I read the description and reviews, and thought what the heck, give 'em a shot. Worst case scenario, I send them back. First real-life test was a four-day, 1250 mile ride over some of Nevada's most iconic roads (US-50 Loneliest Road & Extraterrestrial Hwy), I am... to put it bluntly... in LOVE with these shoes. They've proven them to be waterproof and as comfortable as a pair of tennies. The ankle support is sturdy and the cushioning within the shoe is plush. I'm actually thinking about ordering a second set, just to have on a shelf in reserve, for the day these are eventually worn out. No more needing to lug around a second set of shoes for walking and such once arrived at destination. These are SWEET and I 100% recommend them.
