There's Still Time for Fall Riding

It’s nearing one month since the autumn equinox occurred. It comes to mind that there is still a lot of riding to do, no matter where you live. Given that, I’ve read a blog from an insurance company that describes what they call the “Top” rides for fall color. Though the "changing-of-the-leaves" has advance a degree, if you live near one of areas listed, you still have time to experience the color from no better place than your motorcycle. Here we go:

  1. Shenandoah National Park
  2. The Driftless Region of Wisconsin
  3. The Olympic Peninsula of Washington State
  4. Lake Michigan
  5. Gunnison-Crested Butter in Colorado
  6. Moosehead Lake in Maine
  7. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park
  8. The Eastern Sierras of California

There you have it. It’s probably best to avoid southern Florida and western North Carolina. I have it on good authority (family) that the hazards are many.
